Woven Souls is the second book in the Broken Vows trilogy by Salem Cross.

Synopsis
No wonder people are afraid of ghosts. They’ll stab you in the back with a twinkle in their eyes.
My Ghosts are looking to repent, and I don’t know if I have a choice when it comes to forgiving them. Without their help, my enemies will find me.
I’m fed up with pretending I’m some damsel in distress.
In order to survive and keep my men safe, it’s time to come clean about my true nature. But on the heels of my revelation, information is uncovered that the Brotherhood my men have sworn their allegiance to may not be as righteous as they believed.
In order to discover their true agenda, we’ll have to trust one another if we want to make it to Everlast in one piece.
But how can I expect the men that I’m falling for to trust me when they learn that the secret I’ve been hiding goes against everything their Brotherhood stands for?

Review
Salem has done it again! I absolutely loved this book 🖤
We were left with a cliffhanger at the end of book one, so I was dying to get my hands on this book. I didn't see how some of the Ghosts were going to redeem themselves at the end of book one, but Salem was able to help them find redemption in a way that made sense.
We are all rocks now, stuck in the gravitational pull that is Willow. She is our sun. The one that brightens up the darkest parts of us and warms the coldest depths.
If you thought Willow was amazing in the first book, then just you wait! She gets even more badass! She's got to be one of my favorite FMC 🥰
"I'm a necromancer---" Kind of. "---not a siren, so I didn't lead these men astray. Though, with an ass like mine, it's enough to tempt even the most devout angel," I tease with a smug smile.
"Willow, focus."
There is a ton of action in this book, not just the spicy kind 😜, but really awesome fighting.
"You came searching for three Fallen Ghosts and some monsters, right? Well, guest what? You found us. Now I'm going to make you wish you hadn't."
But of course Salem has to leave us on an incredible cliffhanger, so I can't wait to get my hands on the last book of the Broken Vows trilogy! 🖤🖤🖤
Notable Highlights
"When was the last time you surfed the World Wide Web?" "Never."
Her brows raise in surprise.
"Viktor! I need to introduce you to the wonderful world of porn. I'm sure that will chill you out."
"It's always been for Willow," I state firmly. "And it will be until my dying breath."
"You are radiant this evening, Willow. The only reason anyone will stop and stare at you tonight is because they are green with envy."
She's always been a beautiful woman, but watching her take charge… I don't think I've ever gotten hard in the midst of a fight, until this evening.
"What I'm trying to say is that whether we're bound or not, I would not walk away from you, Willow."
It is her thoughtfulness that is unraveling the rough exterior I've wrapped myself in to keep people out.
I want more of Willow. Not just her body, but all of her.
Soiel Ywab' translates from our Fae language to 'angel of death.'
"Trust me. I will love her as passionately as I will fuck her."
"This king has neglected his queen for far too long."
I love that there is so much to grab. She isn't a fragile flower; she's a sturdy woman whose body was made to worship.
"Be my queen." …"I'll be whatever you want me to be, my king."
It's hard to breathe, but I love the struggle of life and death here between her legs. This is how a real man dies. I am sure of it.
"You not only deserve the world, but you deserve to enjoy it without the restraints of vows, societal stigmas, and any other constrictions one could face. You deserve to be free and happy, Kwil."
Who the hell enjoys running for fun? Fate really thought it was being funny pairing me with this guy. Thank goodness he's hot.
*Spoilers*
Jonah appears beside Viktor and gapes. Lifting a hand, he points to Willow's father and shouts, "Holy shit, it's Death!" He pauses only to take a deep breath before he asks, "Mr. Death, I'd like to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage."
"You may be the daughter of Death, but I'm going to make you feel alive."
