Synopsis

What would you do if you killed someone?

Normal people wouldn’t go running to the prodigal son of a mafia kingpin for help.

I’m not exactly normal.

The daughter of a gang leader embroiled in a turf war. One that has me caught in the crossfire. When you have nowhere else to turn, who better to protect you than someone your own father will never suspect.

Zayn Villetti isn’t a man I should make a deal with. Especially not one involving becoming his little pet.

He demands I obey him in all things.

I've never been one to submit.

I have a feeling the man I've known most of my life will be my downfall. With his obligations to his family and my presence throwing his world into disarray. My question is… will I be his?

Review

Zaddy 🥵 WOW...Just wow.... he lives up to his name "spit daddy."

“I like punishing my pets. It’s the sweetest part, especially when they give in.”

Ari comes to Zayn in desperate need of help and he agrees as long as she becomes his pet (non-sexual). They know they can't be together but the bond they create is too strong to resist.

“You have always been my fairy, but you became my queen the moment you walked into my office, covered in your uncle’s blood.”

The chemistry between Zayn and Ari is🔥 I love how Ari is always pushing Z's buttons.

“I’ve been a very bad girl, daddy.”

Sarah Bailey is the QUEEN of spice.

I highly recommend this book but as always check the trigger warnings.

“I’ll strike the match, you carry the flame and we’ll burn it together.”

Oh! And the supporting characters were great! I hope to learn more about Penn, Arlo & Enzo 🖤

Notable Highlights

“I take good care of the things I own, especially when they’re feeling fragile or broken.”

“I’ll tame you, Tinkerbell. It’s only a matter of time.”

"Take it, my dirty little fairy. Take what you've earned."

“If you have to burn the world for us, daddy, then burn the world.” I turned my face into her hand and kissed her palm. “I’ll burn it for you, Tinkerbell, as long as you’ll be my fairy queen.” “I’ll strike the match, you carry the flame and we’ll burn it together.”
