Society of Psychos was the final book in the Dead Men Walking Duet by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti.

Synopsis
I’m the prince of death.
A son of carnage born of wicked deeds and sin-filled nightmares.
Nobody understood me. Until her.
My Spider.
The wild girl I claimed from a sea of violent men. But others want her too…
The enemies who lurk within my walls seek to steal her from my grasp. They’re my captives, but maybe they’re the answer to my greatest fear too. Because the Grim Reaper shadows every move I make, and he’s always watching her.
Perhaps I need a ring of warriors to surround my little psycho and protect her from death’s claws.
Because now she’s stolen my black heart, I can’t fail her like I’ve failed before.
Trigger Warnings
Murder
Torture

Review
"We’re the bad guys. But what if the real bad guys are the ones who claim to be good? The ones who tell the world what’s right and wrong, the ones who try to crush differences out of society so everyone will just go along with what suits them?"
I want more😭 It was sooo good but I'm not ready for it to be over.
"Me and you and Niall and Mateo and Brutus. Look at us all, we’re the sum of all the bad things that have ever happened to us. Brutus would be put down out there in the real world, some mean man in a hat would take him away and stick a needle in his neck, send him right away into death just because he bites the people who touch him. But what if every person who’s ever touched him has made him bleed and hurt and cry? That’s why I bite, Jack. Because if you don’t bite, you die."
But I'm happy they got their happy (although bloody and chaotic) ever after.
"Bloodshed, carnage, mayhem and us. That was all I never knew I needed, and all I’d ever want now. Just me, her, a feral dog and two bloodthirsty arseholes who loved her beyond the point of sanity too. And that was all I desired in this world of chaos, our own little home in the storm."
Caroline and Susanne are amazing at ending a series and then showing us far into the future so that we can find closure. Also! These two and their references to Zodiac Academy and Darkmore Penetentiary. Espcially: "She’d tossed me away like a mouldy potato which had recently been up a convict’s butt." That about killed me.
Notable Highlights
"The stars had aligned, called our names and we’d said yes please Mrs Fate – because only a crazy person would ever deny the stars and risk their wrath. They were vengeful, spiteful creatures who would always get their revenge for such a snub after all. No one could win against them, anyone who tried would perish and rot and say bye-bye to all the good things they’d ever held dear."
"I wasn’t going to forgive him like a friendly dolphin looking for its blowhole to be tickled though. I wanted a big fat sorry alongside a big fat French kiss, and maybe a little finger up the butt if I was getting all my wishes fulfilled." “Hamster got your cock, Ronan?” I shot back at him. “What?” “Well, I assumed you musta done a trade with the little fella for yours. That would explain that tiny pecker you‘ve got resting on your balls like a worm sunbathing on a beanbag.”
“Niall needs his eyes where they are. I know they’d look pretty on a necklace, but we can’t just go around making necklaces out of people’s eyes because we need some new jewellery.”
“He’s me in reverse, his cracks are in the same places as mine. You ground me, Mateo, but Niall makes me fly. And I need to fly sometimes as much as I need my feet down here with you too.
"I’d once spent a night hooting to an owl in a tree just in case he might be hoarding my letter to Hogwarts. And don’t get me started on the time I’d stolen a kid’s pot of glitter and thrown it in my face just in case it would whisk me away to Zodiac Academy. I was an Aquarius – obvi – but I wouldn’t have just had air magic if I lived in that world, I’d have had the whole bunch of elements, earth, fire, water, everything. I’d have taken over the entire kingdom too, stolen the throne from the Celestial Heirs while shaking my ass in their hot, preppy faces. I’d have been an evil Pegasus queen, a villain to be feared and revered, and I’d bring Mateo and Niall and Angry Jack with me too, and together we’d be an unstoppable band of villains. Mateo could really be a vampire then and Niall would be a basilisk, feeding on others’ pain while I rode Angry Jack across the land whenever he shifted into a white dragon and burned all the people we didn’t like, especially the stinky ones. Yeah, that was the life for me. Queen of everything, all powerful ruler of a magical world where not even the stars could stop me-"
"I was a seductress, a temptress of the night, The Peen Piper."
"Niall knocked the gun against Jack’s temple and I pouted, not liking how close those bullets were to tickling his brain. Bullets didn’t play nice. They’d make a right mess of Jack’s head if they popped out and shouted boo, but I liked his head just how it was." "He was like Godzilla among skyscrapers, and I was the tiny person on the ground, horny for all of the giants around me."
"“Me pones tan duro, quiero matar a todos los demás hombres en este mundo, así que soy el único que queda en la tierra para complacerte.”
“You can’t call me crazy,” Brooklyn added. “I’m sanely challenged. Look it up.”
“Eres mi sol. Eres mi luz en la oscuridad. Nunca me dejes,” he snarled and my soul rumbled with the power of his words. “Does that mean…you’re mad? And you’d like a cookie?” I translated. “No,” he hissed through his teeth. “It means, you are my sun, my light. And I command that you don’t ever leave me.”
“I’m gonna ram my emotional support coconut up his ass, then crack it open with a sledgehammer.”
