Jekyll is a standalone novella in the Stalked by a Monster series by Zoe Blake. The other two novella in this series are by Measha Stone and Sara Fields.

Synopsis

Hyde

I am the shiver up your spine, a shift in the shadows, a skipped heartbeat.

Each time I take the formula, he grows stronger.

And so does his obsession for Catherine.

Jekyll is a dark and spicy retelling of Jekyll and Hyde.

Dr. Jekyll is working on a secret formula for the military. Catherine is his new research assistant. Henry is very secretive about his research and believes his crush on Catherine is too much of a distraction.

Henry decides to test his own formula, which creates an alter ego, Mr. Hyde. Mr. Hyde is psychotic and takes what he wants, and his biggest obsession is Catherine. All this spiciness that Mr. Hyde gives us is intense. Let's just say there's lots of non/dub-con.

I just wish we could have seen more development with Catherine and Dr. Jekyll's relationship.

This was a great, quick read for spooky season!
